New apparel rows went up this month carrying grams per square metre, because after fourteen years it is still the fastest way to tell whether a fleece will survive a winter or a single wash.
Revision
Inspection now states plainly what it confirms: colour, visible defects, the size tag, stitching and whether the item matches your notes. Smell, hand feel and durability are not part of it.
